About Project
1 x 5.5kVA Solar Inverter A high-efficiency, pure sine wave inverter capable of handling the energy demands of small to medium appliances and electronics. This inverter ensures uninterrupted power supply with intelligent power management. Heavy-duty batteries designed for deep discharge and long life. With a combined storage capacity of 800Ah, they provide reliable energy storage for overnight and cloudy-day use. 4 x 500W Monocrystalline Solar Panels
High-performance solar panels with a total capacity of 2,000 watts (2kW). These panels are optimized for high solar yield and are perfect for the sunny climate of Ibadan.
The project involved a total floor area of 161,000 sq. ft., which includes a 42,227 sq. ft. casino floor and 124 guest rooms within an attached five-storey hotel building (built by another developer). Guests can enjoy over 500 slot machines and gaming tables. The casino also features dining options such as MATCH Eatery & Public House, Summit Bar, and The Buffet.
Our Client’s Challenge
Developing and maintaining transformation programs in finance, logistics/supply chains, information technology, training and procurement to help foster cost effectiveness and efficiency without the loss of Defense capability. Taking advantage of opportunities to help reduce costs while maintaining operational capability through partnerships.
- Reliable Power Supply: Supports essential loads including lighting, fans, TV, laptops, routers, and other low-to-medium energy appliances.
- Clean Energy: Significantly reduces dependency on the grid and diesel/petrol generators.
- Cost-Effective: Reduces monthly energy bills and lowers long-term energy costs.
- Environmentally Friendly: Zero emissions and a smaller carbon footprint, contributing to a greener Ibadan.
Our Approach And Solution
At Simmytrified, our goal was to provide GadgetWright in Ibadan with a reliable, sustainable, and efficient off-grid power solution tailored to their specific energy needs. We began with a thorough energy audit and site assessment to understand their power usage patterns and daily consumption.
Our Approach:
Client Consultation & Energy Assessment
We conducted detailed consultations with the GadgetWright team to determine their critical power loads, usage times, and energy goals. This allowed us to recommend a system that was both scalable and efficient.System Design & Planning
Based on the assessment, we designed a 5.5kVA solar inverter system backed by 4x200Ah deep cycle batteries and powered by 4x500W solar panels. The configuration was optimized for daily solar harvesting and nighttime usage, ensuring power availability 24/7.Professional Installation
Our certified technicians installed and configured the system with precision, ensuring proper panel alignment for maximum sun exposure and safe electrical integration. All components were tested and verified on-site for peak performance.Client Training & Support
We provided hands-on training to the GadgetWright team on system operation, basic maintenance, and power management to ensure long-term reliability and user confidence.
🔧 Our Solution:
A Stable and Consistent Power Supply
With a 5.5kVA inverter and 800Ah of battery storage, the system comfortably supports GadgetWright’s daily energy needs without the limitations of grid dependency.Optimized Solar Harvesting
The 2kW solar panel array captures ample energy during daylight hours, charging the batteries efficiently while simultaneously powering live loads.Smart Power Management
The inverter’s intelligent charge controller manages the flow of power seamlessly between solar panels, batteries, and connected devices—ensuring optimal efficiency and extended battery life.
This project not only empowers GadgetWright to operate without power disruptions but also supports their commitment to sustainability and innovation in Ibadan.
